Benin prepares Messi's farewell without defensive scheming

Mohamed Tijani, Benin's fullback, announced that his team would not adopt strict defensive tactics against Lionel Messi in the friendly match marking the retirement from international football of the Argentine legend. The defender prefers to celebrate the occasion rather than contain the seven-time Ballon d'Or winner. Tijani expresses his respect for Messi, whose international career transformed Argentina with notably the 2022 World Cup victory.
