Ancelotti calls up Brazil to prepare for 2026

Carlo Ancelotti will call up the Brazilian national team on September 9 for three friendly matches marking the start of a new cycle ahead of the 2026 World Cup. Brazil will face Australia twice (September 25 and 29) before traveling to India for a historic match on October 3. The Italian coach is actively scouting in Europe and plans to integrate young players for the team's rebuild. This first squad selection reflects the renewal strategy between Copa América 2028 and the 2030 World Cup.
