Carlos Cordeiro, head of advisers to FIFA president Gianni Infantino, submitted his immediate resignation on Friday. This departure comes in disagreement with a proposal to sell stakes linked to the 2026 World Cup. This high-level resignation occurs just months before the tournament takes place in the United States, Canada and Mexico. It raises questions about the strategic directions of world football's governing body.
