Uefa, AFC and Concacaf issued a joint statement criticizing Gianni Infantino's management and his abandoned commercial subsidiary project. These three confederations together hold 136 votes at the Fifa Congress, well above the 106 needed to elect a president. The election will take place in March in Rabat, before the 2026 World Cup. Infantino remains the only official candidate, while internal dissensions weaken the opposition bloc.
