Fluminense tests invincibility before Libertadores

Fluminense face Atlético-MG on Saturday with nine unbeaten matches in the Brasileirão, but Marcão rests his key players for Tuesday.

Fluminense arrive at Arena MRV with a streak of nine matches without defeat in the Brazilian championship, six of which since coach Marcão's arrival. However, the Rio club will rest some of its key players to preserve their physical condition before Tuesday's decisive clash against Platense in the Libertadores quarter-finals. This management of resources reflects Tricolor's priorities ahead of the 2026 World Cup, where several Brazilian players in contention will seek to validate their status.
