Paulo Pezzolano will not manage Internacional at the 2026 World Cup. The Uruguayan coach was dismissed on Sunday, September 20 after forty-four matches (48% win rate). Beaten 1-0 by São Paulo at Morumbis, Colorado occupies 18th place in the Brasileirão with only six victories in seventeen matches. This technical instability weakens the Brazilian club's preparations before the world competition.
