Spain is writing history by becoming the first nation to win both World Cups (men's and women's) in the same cycle. This achievement is no accident: two decades of structural work and investment in women's football have paid off. The current generation is reaping the rewards of a long-term strategy launched by the Spanish federation. This global dominance positions La Roja as an undeniable powerhouse ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026.
