Lucho Acosta scored the only goal in Fluminense's victory over Vasco (1-0) at the Maracanã, less than three minutes after coming on as a substitute. The Argentine international, searching for form in recent weeks, finds his rhythm ahead of the 2026 World Cup stakes. Acosta had gone through a quiet spell without any decisive contribution since May, thus marking his return to crucial moments. This goal revives his prospects as a contender for an ambitious Argentina selection.
