UEFA and Concacaf sent a letter to FIFA on Friday, demanding that each national federation receive an additional $10 million from the reserves of the global governing body. This request comes following the financial success of the previous World Cup. The two confederations argue that this additional fund would allow national teams to prepare better. The distribution would concern all member federations, ahead of the North American tournament in 2026.
