Kylian Mbappé is firmly staking his claim for the 2026 Ballon d'Or. With 42 goals in 44 matches at Real Madrid and a historic record of 22 goals across three World Cups, the Frenchman asserts that no one has had a better season. When questioned by France Football, he acknowledges that the lack of collective titles is debatable, but argues that this individual award rewards his personal performance, notably his unmatched World Cup record.
