Vozinha, 40, finally joined Colo-Colo in Chile on Sunday after nearly signing with Moroccan Berkane. The Cabo Verde goalkeeper made an impression at the 2026 World Cup by holding Spain to a draw (0-0) in his first world appearance. A revelation of the tournament, he then faced Argentina in the round of 16, conceding three goals in extra time. Chilean football regulations force him to drop his nickname from his jersey.
