Ziyech joins Botafogo ahead of 2026 Cup

Hakim Ziyech, 33, is now registered at Botafogo following his arrival from Wydad Casablanca. The Moroccan international, who had an excellent 2022 World Cup (quarter-finalist), will be able to make his debut this Saturday against Mirassol. Tite, the new Brazilian manager, is overseeing this integration ahead of the South American qualifiers for 2026. Ziyech brings his European experience and his ballistic qualities to the Rio de Janeiro project.
