Zlatko Dalić officially announced his departure from Croatia's coaching position on Wednesday. The manager is stepping down after nine years leading the national project, just days after his team's elimination from the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. This decision marks the end of an era for the Balkan nation, which reached the 2018 World Cup final. The Croatian Football Federation must now find a successor to revive the project for the North American tournament.
