Cavan Sullivan, offensive midfielder for Philadelphia Union aged 16, received his first call-up with the USMNT. The young talent, author of six goals and eight assists since the last World Cup, joins the squad of coach Mauricio Pochettino for a preparatory tournament in late September-early October. The United States will face Chile, Peru, Mexico and Canada. This early selection reflects the confidence of the American federation in Sullivan with a view to the 2026 World Cup.
