The Scottish Football Association has appointed Sébastien Pocognoli, 39, as new national manager. The Belgian replaces Steve Clarke, who was sacked after elimination in the group stage of the last World Cup. Pocognoli becomes the first non-Scottish manager since Berti Vogts (2002-2004). The SFA praises his offensive and aggressive style to prepare for qualification towards 2026.
