France considers hosting 2038 World Cup

Philippe Diallo, president of the French Football Federation, confirmed Thursday on RMC that France is seriously studying a bid to host the 2038 World Cup. This symbolic project would mark the centenary of the first edition hosted by the country in 1938. The FFF is thus pursuing its long-term sports strategy, a few years after the successful organization of the 2022 World Cup as a finalist.
