Asia Prepares Major Overhaul of Its Qualifications

The Asian Football Confederation is studying the creation of a Nations League to restructure its competitions from 2030 onwards. This project would affect the qualification procedures for the World Cup and the Asian Cup. Asian national teams, many of which are preparing for the 2026 World Cup, would experience a calendar change after this continental edition.
