Michael McArdle, appointed to lead Northern Ireland women in March, has transformed the squad into a formation 'ready for the playoffs'. The coach sacrificed a stable career in construction to dedicate his life to football, investing in his coaching qualifications. His team faces Portugal in a decisive clash to reach the 2026 World Cup. A journey worthy of a cinematic scenario, according to McArdle himself.
