Manchester United in crisis: Wilcox criticized ahead of World Cup

Jason Wilcox, football director at Manchester United, is facing growing criticism from players like Lisandro Martínez, 2022 world champion. Recent underperformance in the Premier League and Europe are directly affecting the confidence of English internationals preparing for the 2026 World Cup qualification. Martínez and other key players believe that sporting decisions from above are penalizing the team. Pressure is mounting on Wilcox to quickly turn the situation around before the World Cup qualifying rounds.
