Tuchel reshapes England ahead of 2026

Thomas Tuchel is overhauling his squad for the road to the 2026 World Cup, pushing young players to the forefront.

The England manager had considered continuity after the 2022 World Cup, but injuries and changes forced his hand. In the last Nations League match against Czech Republic at Wembley, Tuchel had only 12 players who participated in the World Cup. Talents like Alex Scott, Lewis Hall and Myles Lewis-Skelly are emerging while others lose ground. This transition imposes a new identity on the Three Lions on the road to 2026 in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
