Xavi takes the reins of the Dutch national team until 2026

The Dutch Football Federation announced on Wednesday the appointment of Xavi as head coach of the Netherlands. The Spanish trainer replaces Ronald Koeman following a disappointing World Cup and is committed through 2030. This choice is surprising in the context of preparations for the 2026 tournament in the United States, Canada and Mexico. Xavi aims to revitalize Dutch football ahead of this major competition.
